Another weekend, another new state

This past weekend we were off to Madison, WI for a wedding. We left home Thursday night and stayed and Uncle Jon's in Ames. Nolan doesn't look too excited for lots of driving in his near future.

Friday morning we met Grandma and Grandpa Kruse at the Boondocks to ride along to Wisconsin. Once we got to Madison it was wedding time. Nolan must have had a good time with that big grin on his face the next morning!

Saturday morning we went to the Madison farmers market and got some cheese and bread. Once we were done with the market it was time to head to Milwaukee. Before going to the baseball game we headed to the shores of Lake Michigan. Little did we know that there was an art festival and an air show happening so parking was an adventure. Grandpa dropped us off and ended up parking a long ways away. Nolan slept while he rode in his stroller but woke up as we made our way to one of the piers.

After the short visit to the shores of Lake Michigan it was off to the Braves vs Brewers game. Nolan was very excited to be at the ball park (Dad and Grandpa were too)!

The game started out fast but once the Brewers started to score a few runs in the 8th it really slowed down. The Braves fans left unhappy after a 4-0 loss. Nolan had seen enough baseball.

Sunday would be the biggest day in the car and by the time we made it to Missouri he had pretty much had it with his car seat. He was very happy to get home and back in his crib.
