Christmas Shopping in Des Moines

This weekend Nolan got to do his first Christmas shopping. Dad met Mom and Nolan, along with Grandpa and Grandma Kruse and Uncle Jon on Friday night in Des Moines. Saturday morning the shopping started early at Jordan Creek. We debated taking a picture with Santa but the line wasn't moving very fast so we bailed on that idea. Mom was going to take a picture of Dad and Nolan by the tree when a nice lady came a long and took a picture of all three of us.

Nolan's shopping day wasn't too long but he did pay a visit to the food court and got in some good stroller time before going to Lucas and Lindsay's house to watch a little football and hangout.

Saturday night we went out to eat to celebrate Mom's new job. After eating Mom and Dad went to a movie and let Grandpa and Grandma babysit. Sunday morning Nolan was worn out from all the shopping. We did a little more at Valley West, ate and then headed back home. Nolan did find some nice gifts this weekend so you will just have to wait and see what he got you!
