Happy 4th of July

We had a busy weekend with lots of family time.  On Saturday we headed to South Dakota for Cousin Steve's wedding on the Kruse side.  Nolan was very good during the ceremony and reception, he even got a few dances in with Mom and Grandma, although we didn't get pictures of it!

On Sunday morning Nolan, Grandma and Mom got up and headed to a baptism for Ingrid, Nolan's 2nd Cousin at Roseni Church (Grandma's church that she grew up at).  Nolan was exhausted and fell asleep during church and so he continued his nap back at Grandpa Kruse's house with Cousin Nikki. 

After a little snooze we headed back home and had plans to watch fireworks at the Lake but everyone was too tired. 

On the 4th of July we started the day out with cleaning around the house, Nolan hung out while we worked!

After the cleaning we headed out to Nolan's pool in our backyard to cool off!  The water was a little cool yet but I think Nolan still enjoyed himself!

After some time in the pool Grandma and Grandpa Kruse came over for a cookout.  We had some good food and took pictures by the front porch!

After Nolan's afternoon nap we headed out to the Lake to visit Grandma Marjean and Dale along with Matt and Morgan.  Nolan got to go on his first boat ride, not quite sure if he enjoyed it or not, his eyes were closed a lot under his sunglasses!

So, we had a good weekend even if it was busy.  We enjoyed the family time, especially seeing all the family in South Dakota that we don't see very often!  We hope everyone had a safe 4th of July!
