Nolan, Dad and Grandpa Dennis headed west to Minden, NE and the Pioneer Village for the Ramthun Reunion the weekend of the 23rd in July. It was a hot one but we had a good time seeing lots of family and some of what central Nebraska has to offer.
It was nap time as we visited the Pioneer Village museum on Friday.
Great Grandpa Ron and Great Great Uncle Gary spent some time reminiscing their days of baling hay on the same model baler they had. There were some discrepancies about who got paid better (1 or 2 cents a bale) and which seat was dirtier! It was fun listening to them talk about all the baling they did.
Nolan enjoying some alone chair time.
Saturday morning Grandpa Dennis, Dad and Nolan went and visited Fort Kearney.
After the visit to the Fort we took a short walk on a trail to a bridge over the Platte River.
Everyone who was at the reunion after eating Saturday night.
