Memorial Day Weekend

Saturday was spent hanging out around the house, the boys with Dad in the morning while Mom went to Fort Dodge with Grandma for a facial!  It was relaxing and nice to enjoy a gift that I received over a year ago! :)
Sunday was a fun family day.  We started the day early when Landon woke up and showed us he could crawl forward now.  Mom got up with him and gave him his bottle and then set him on the floor, when she turned around he was going the opposite direction!  He was moving and getting into everything that he shouldn't be!
Sunday afternoon we headed to Nevada to celebrate Cousin Luke's Graduation from High School!  Luke will be attending Iowa Central in the Fall so he will be around Manson a lot and hopefully we will get to spend some more time with him!  Cousin Caleb was there for the party too.  Landon can't be trusted on the floor next to him, he just wants to check his eyes out and make sure they are ok!!!
Before we left we got some pictures of Great Grandpa Ron with his 3 Great Grandsons!
Ron with his two oldest grandchildren and their children!
Great Grandpa and his Ramthun boys!
Landon was very worried about Caleb sitting with his brother, he kept an eye on the two of them!
Great Grandkids!
Great Grandpa making sure the black bugs stay clear of Nolan!
Landon loves his Aunt Morgan!
Nolan thought Great Grandpa was telling a funny story!

Monday morning we woke up early and headed to the Covenant Cemetary for the Memorial Day service.  Lots of family were in town so we headed to Great Grandma Ruth's for lunch with everyone.  Nolan got to go on a Ranger ride with Dad and he enjoyed it (no picture)!
Nolan was telling a funny story!
We tried to get a good family photo but Landon was very concerned with the cat that was wandering around on the porch.
After lunch we headed home for naps and then we headed out to Grandma Marjeans at the lake to meet Uncle Jon and Aunt Emily.  We did some boating while the boys hung out inside with the Aljets and Grandma.  After boating we headed back home and grilled out with Uncle Jon and Aunt Emily and Grandma and Grandpa Kruse.  Of course we didn't take any pictures in the afternoon or at our house.
We had a good weekend and are so thankful for all those that have served our country and we will always remember those that have gone on before us and paved the way for us to live our lives!
