Yesterday was UNI's Homecoming so Adam, Landon and I headed to Cedar Falls for the football game with Grandma and Grandpa Kruse. Nolan got to spend the day with Grandma Marjean and Grandpa Dale. This was Landon's first time tailgating and visiting the dome. It was pretty chilly when it was cloudy but once the sun came out it felt good. We met Jon and Emily along with Uncle Jon's friends over there. We grilled some brats and ate snacks before the game. Landon wasn't quite sure what to think at first as there were a lot of people and a lot to look at. He got to meet a few interesting people when he would go walking through the tailgate area, one group offered him a beer to help him feel better after he fell. After the tailgate we headed in for the game and we got great seats from one of Jon's people! Landon did really good at the game but after a while didn't want to sit still so we would walk him around the dome. One time while we were walking around he got a high five from Chip Rank (UNI Baskeball Player!)! It was a great day out with the family and Grandma Marjean said Nolan had a great day as well. Oh yeah, the Panthers did beat the Jack Rabbit's from South Dakota!
