We got up early on Sunday morning to get ready to head out to the zoo. We got to the zoo around 8:30 and they were supposed to open at 9:00 but we got right in and started our zoo adventure. The boys did amazing and loved seeing all the animals. There are lots of pictures below to show you exactly what we did at the zoo (sorry blogger is still having issues with the vertical photos)!

Landon loved the monkeys, they weren't very active when we were watching them but later he could see them from down below and hear them. He was just as loud as the real monkeys with his monkey noise!
Landon loved "roaring" at the tiger but wasn't quite sure about the tiger when it would "roar" back at him!
Next we went to visit the lion and her cubs but she wasn't as excited to see us. She came right up to the window and pounded on it, scared us all. We later found that every time we would move one of the strollers she would watch us or follow us.
Landon eventually warmed up to the lion and liked the cubs.
Landon was not into taking pictures, he just wanted to watch the animals. The leopard is coming down to get us!

We took the "Skyfari" on a roundtrip to go over the top of the giraffes and rhinos. Landon sat so still but had a great time looking around at everything below him. It went a lot better than we thought it would!

After the "Skyfari" we ate lunch and then headed into the Jungle, but by this time both boys were getting tired. They were still very good but just not interested in looking at things anymore. So, we walked through the jungle fast and hit up the gift shop before going back to the van for the ride home.
We were in the car for about 5 minutes before Landon and Caleb were both fast asleep. Landon is hanging on to this giraffe and elephant that he picked out at the gift shop. He held onto them the whole way home only to let go to get a drink and then take them back right away!
It was a great trip and I am sure we will be going back many more times as much Landon loves his animals! We were happy to get back to Grandma Marjean's house to pick Nolan up and get home!
