Fishing at Twin Lakes

Monday night after Mommy got off of work at 4:00 (Summer hours have started at Iowa Central!!!) we headed out to Twin Lakes to fish off of Grandpa Dale's dock with Mike and Parker.  It was a really nice night and we ended up staying outside until about 7:45 before heading home.  Parker caught two fish with his pole but Landon and Nolan didn't catch anything.  Landon was more interested in touching and seeing the fish Parker caught then he was.  If we could just get Landon to understand that when Daddy is casting the line that he isn't throwing it in the water, he kept trying to throw the whole fishing pole in the water!

After fishing we took the boat out for a quick run around the lake.  Landon liked watching the water at the back of the boat.

 

Before we went over to Grandpa Dale's house that night we went over to the covered bridge area to try and take a few pictures of Nolan.  It wasn't too successful since he started to get cold and was just messing with us. 



Nolan is growing up so fast and since the weather hasn't been the greatest we haven't had a chance to get his 4 year pictures taken, hopefully next weekend!  I love his cheeseburger smiles, especially in the last picture!!!
