Saturday morning we ran/walked in the MACCrater Dash 5k. Daddy got 3rd and Mommy walked with Grandma and we beat the time we set for ourselves. Uncle Jon and Aunt Emily were home too so they walked/ran in the race as well. They started with Nolan and then half way through we switched and they pushed Landon. After the race we got ready for the parade and went over to Ann and Jim's house to watch it with some other friends. Landon was not a big fan of the parade once people started spraying him with water and throwing candy at him, I don't think he knew that it was candy. Nolan sat back with Grandpa Kruse and listened to the parade and gave lots of smiles! After the parade we headed to the fairgrounds to eat lunch and check out the rest of the festivities, there wasn't much for Landon to do so we headed home for naps! After naps we headed over to Grandpa and Grandma Kruse's house to have supper with "Uncle and Mimi" and hangout for the evening. Landon had a blast running around and getting lots of attention and Nolan loved being held!
Friday night Carolyn was reading Landon and Nolan a book. Landon loves trying to worm his way into Carolyn and Nolan's time together.

Sunday morning we got up early and headed to South Dakota with Grandpa, Grandma, Jon and Emily to visit Great Grandpa Arnie. We started the morning out at the Great Plains Zoo and we know now not to tell Landon what we are going to do because I guess he talked about the animals the whole 3 hour drive! Landon had a great time at the zoo and loved making all the animal sounds and Uncle and Emily got him to say the actual names of the animals. He doesn't have a very long attention span because he would look at the animals for about 30 seconds and then was ready to move on to the next animals. Nolan enjoyed the zoo as well and gave us lots of smiles throughout the morning.

After the zoo we picked up Great Grandpa and went out to eat for lunch. It was a great lunch and time to sit and chat. Next, we decided to drive up to the Falls and walk around to enjoy the amazing weather. We haven't been to the Falls for probably 12 years or so. It such a nice place to walk around and enjoy the outdoors. Landon enjoyed throwing rocks in the water and it was peaceful enough for Nolan to continue his nap.
