Yesterday Landon, Grandma Mary Jo, Grandpa Brad and Mommy headed to South Dakota to visit family while Nolan and Daddy had a fun, relaxing day at home together. First, we stopped in Vermillion at the Rest Stop to have pancakes with Great Uncle Dick and the Lions Club, (they host a pancake breakfast at the rest stop for all the motorcyclists heading up to Sturgis on I-29). Landon liked the wooden lions that they had up around the place and the BIG tee-pee. After breakfast Landon, Mommy, and Grandma Mary Jo headed to Aunt Marlys's house for the day while Grandpa Brad went up to Lennox to golf with Great Grandpa Arnie and some of his brothers. We had fun playing at Marlys's house, she has some fun books to read and lots of toys! After lunch we headed to the park to play, Landon had a blast. Mid afternoon we got in the car and started the drive home but not without stopping in Sioux City first for a little shopping. Landon and Grandpa visited the pet store and then ate frozen yogurt, and went to Buffalo Wild Wings for chips and dip. Mommy and Grandma did some shopping for themselves!
