Memorial Day weekend started out on Saturday hanging out around the house and then Mommy, Daddy and Landon went for a bike ride around Twin Lakes while Mabel and Nolan hung out with Grandma Marjean and Grandpa Dale. After the bike ride we had to head into Manson to get ready for Landon and Daddy's camping adventure that night. We packed things up and then went over to Grandma and Grandpa Kruse's house for some fun with Uncle Jon, Aunt Emily, and Cousin Braxton! Landon and Daddy camped out in a tent that night in Grandma and Grandpa's backyard and stayed out the whole night, even through the rain; Daddy didn't get a lot of sleep but Landon says he will do it again! Sunday morning we got ready for another day at Grandma and Grandpa Kruse's house to visit with Great Aunt Marlene who was visiting from Georgia. We had fun hanging out in the yard and catching up with Marlene in the morning! We went for boat rides in the afternoon followed by an early night to bed (of course Landon had to have a stay over with Uncle Jon)! Monday morning we got up and made it to the cemetery for the service and then to Eric and Ellen's house for lunch with the Erickson family. Later on Monday we got the pool out and did a little swimming in the backyard to cool off!
Cheers to the planting season being complete!
