4th of July Weekend!

On Saturday morning Landon, Mommy, Daddy went out to fish on Storm Lake with Grandma Mary Jo and Grandpa Brad.  We were out on the water for over 2 hours and didn't catch anything.  It was pretty cold that morning so the fish were not biting.  We had fun though and then went to eat lunch in Storm Lake at the Mexican place on Main Street.

Sunday afternoon we went out to Great Grandma Ruth's to hang out and we brought some supper out with us.  Mabel and Landon checked on the chickens and went for Ranger rides while Nolan got to spend some time with Great Grandma Ruth.

Landon and Grandma Ruth on the front porch swing!

Mabel got to have a stay over with Grandma Mary Jo and Grandpa Brad Sunday night.  Landon was supposed to stay too but he had a tummy ache so he stayed home with Mommy and Daddy!

Monday, 4th of July, We headed to Gowrie for the parade and lunch with Grandma Mary Jo and Grandpa Brad.  We were all cool in our shades before we left!

A good family picture!  Happy 4th of July!

Everyone set up for the parade!  Mabel did not want to sit still, she had been to the park across the street earlier and then didn't want to stay with us anymore!

The best part of the parade "Proud to be an American"!  Landon loves this song now and sings it constantly in the house!

Mabel was exhausted after a full morning and a little lunch!

Landon and Grandpa Brad went down the slide about 3 times!

They had a good time!

Riding on some more of the carnival rides!  He was a little nervous, but did great!

Later in the day we went out to the lake with the Aljets family at Grandma Marjean and Grandpa Dale's house!  It was a little too cool to get in the water for some of us but the Aljets kids did get in!  We had fun out at the lake but we didn't get any pictures!
It was a busy, fun weekend!
