This year Mabel, Landon, Mommy, Daddy and Grandma Mary Jo made the trip to the Clay County Fair. Nolan stayed home with Grandma Marjean because Nolan still had his cast on his left leg. Grandma Mary Jo and Mabel had never been to the Clay County Fair so they were in for a fun day. We left after Sunday School on Sunday morning, September 11th. When we got to the fair the first thing we did was get a spot to watch the sea lion show, those animals are pretty cool. After that it was time to get some lunch and then move on to see the animals. Mabel struggled at first but then once we got in to see the animals she was better. She loved looking at the animals and was not afraid of them. Landon enjoyed walking around and seeing all the animals as well but he really wanted to get to the conservation place where he saw some fun animals last year with Grandma Marjean. We had a lot of good food and good times looking at everything. We ran into a few people even Grandpa Dennis and Grandma Linda. It was a fun afternoon at a great fair!

Daddy watched this guy carve the wood towers for 9/11.
Checking out some big pigs!
Mabel loved getting out to see the animals.
Not sure what she is looking at but she liked it!
Landon and Daddy went to see the train, another one of Landon's favorites!
Grandma Mary Jo and Mabel checking out the Lenz show cow!
Some cute little sheep!
The little chickens!
Watching the ducks slide down the waterslide!
One of the highlights!
Mabel petting an ostrich!
Daddy and Landon at the top of the slide!
Landon talked Mommy into going down the slide this year, don't know if she will climb up there again, especially on a windy day!
The final wood carving! Amazing!
Mabel was exhausted!
I think this was Mabel's favorite part of the day, the cart at Wal-Mart.
