Saturday, April 8th, we enjoyed 2 egg hunts! The first one was in Manson for the playground fundraiser and the 2nd was in West Des Moines at the Special Egg Event. We had a great time at both. Mommy and Daddy were working at the Manson egg hunt so we don't have any pictures but Grandma Marjean and Lisa helped the kids with the hunt! Grandma Mary Jo and Grandpa Brad joined us for the egg hunt in West Des Moines. We all decided to stay overnight in a hotel to do some swimming so Uncle Jon, Aunt Emily and Cousin Braxton met us there! It was a fun weekend!

The egg begins! Landon helping Nolan with his eggs! The stick has a magnet on the end and each egg has a magnet in it so kids in wheelchairs could pick up the eggs. There were a lot of kids in Nolan's group with a variety of challenges but it was so fun to watch them all take part in the egg hunt!
Mabel's turn to help Nolan. The kids would get the eggs up to Nolan's bucket and Nolan would push them off the stick!

Mabel loved the pool because she was able to walk around on her own a lot. Although she didn't think she needed us to hold her in the deeper parts either!
Landon was so brave this time swimming, jumping in all over, floating and swimming under the rope and deep in the water!

Sunday after breakfast we headed to Homemakes to find Nolan a new chair for his birthday! He fits good in this chair!
After Homemakers we headed over to Lucas and Lindsey's house to catch up a little. The kids played in the backyard and us adults talked in between helping the kids!
It was a great weekend but exhausting for all of us!
