Father's Day weekend always happens to be around our anniversary but this year we decided to focus on Father's Day so we didn't have any plans for our anniversary!
Saturday morning Landon and Daddy went out fishing with Grandpa Brad at Storm Lake. They were successful and had a great time together. Landon was so happy Dad could go with him this time and he could show him how he and Grandpa fish!
Saturday evening we met Aunt Emily, Uncle Jon, Cousin Braxton, Grandma Mary Jo and Grandpa Brad in Paton for our 2nd annual Father's Day supper! We had a good time together and enjoyed good food and the kids loved running outside afterwards. Braxton got to come home with Grandma and Grandpa for a few nights.
Sunday morning the kids and Mommy drove to Pomeroy to get Daddy his favorite donuts from Casey's! After church we had a great meal and then Mommy stayed home with Nolan while Daddy took the other two hiking at Dolliver park in Fort Dodge. Nolan still wasn't feeling well and had a very rough day so it is a good thing he stayed home with Mommy. Mabel and Landon had a good time with Daddy and they were exhausted after their hike. Later that afternoon Daddy got to spend some time with Nolan while Mommy took the other two out to Twin Lakes to ride on the boat with Braxton, Gma Mary Jo and Gpa Brad. We had a great weekend as a family!
