Mommy, Daddy, Mabel and Landon traveled to Des Moines the 11th of November for Melissa and Matt's wedding (Daddy and Melissa are pretty much cousins)! Nolan got to stay home and be spoiled by Grandpa and Grandma Kruse since his van was still out of commission! We met the Johnson's in Ankeny for lunch Saturday at noon at Olive Garden and then enjoyed a beautiful wedding ceremony and parade through downtown Des Moines to the reception. Melissa and Matt got engaged in New Orleans on the street with the brass band playing so they had a brass band lead everyone through the blocks of downtown to the reception. It was fun! At the reception the kids did good for a while but then Mabel, Landon and Aubrey were ready to head back to the hotel so Uncle Matt and Mommy went back with Mabel and Aubrey. Landon followed with Grandma Linda and Aunt Hunter, they took an Uber to get to the hotel, Landon thought it was fun! The kids played at the hotel for awhile before going to bed and then got up EARLY the next morning ready to play! We hit up the breakfast as soon as we could with Great Grandpa Ron and then the pool! After a fun morning at the hotel it was time to head home! It was a fun little weekend in the city but we were happy to get back home to Nolan!
