Happy Mothers Day!

Happy Mothers Day! Nolan has been a busy boy the past few days. Friday Mom and Nolan ventured out into the world, just the two of them, and visited the Gardner Wal-Mart to get out of the house. Saturday Dad and Nolan hung out in the morning while mom went to Olathe to run some errands by herself. When Mom got home we took a trip to Gardner Lake. Dad attempted to fish and Mom and Nolan went on a little strole. Fussy Nolan decided to show up shortly after his walk so fishing was cut short and we headed for home.

Mothers Day started out early for Nolan. He wasn't a very sleepy guy last night and wanted to let Mom know how much he loved her by screaming for a couple hours. Dad got to spend some early morning hours with Nolan too and ended up sleeping in late so there was no Mothers Day breakfast. We made it to church this week after getting stopped by a rather large spit up accident the week prior. The plan was he would fall asleep in the car and just sleep through church. That was not the case. He was awake and happy to start and then threw a little fit before giving in to sleep. He got to finish the service and received lots of attention. After church Dad made dinner. Following dinner Nolan and Dad hung out and watched the Cubs beat the Brewers so Mom could take a Sunday afternoon nap! When Mom finished her nap it was time for Dad to take his nap and Nolan decided to join the nap party too. The Mothers Day breakfast got moved to Sunday night but it was still tasty. Following supper it was bath time. This was the first full bath as his cord finally came off Saturday morning! All and all it was a great Mothers Day. Below are some pictures from Friday, Saturday and today.

Love, Adam, Sarah & Nolan

  1. Thanks for sending the neat pictures! I'm glad you took a family picture. I didn't know you had a lake near by to going fishing at. It won't be too long before Nolan will want to go fishing with you. Love, Grandma Ruth
