Today is the end of the 5th week at home with Nolan, next week is the last week Mom and Nolan have together before Mom goes back to work and Aunt Morgan takes care of him. We had a great week together, lots of hanging around the house and laundry! Nolan enjoys going on walks, as long as he is happy when you start the walk, and sitting on the deck while Mom does some work in the garden.Last Friday Nolan went to lunch with Rebecca, Ellie and Mom. After lunch he went to visit CapWest and Garmin so all of our co-workers could see him. He slept the entire 4 hours that we were out, even after being passed around. This week wasn't as exciting because we had a lot of work to do around the house, but Nolan did make a trip to Wal-Mart with Mom, sounds so exciting but when you are trapped in the house all week it is pretty exciting to get out.
Last night Lesley came to stay at our place, she is flying out of the KC airport this morning. Nolan and Lesley had some nice bonding time, pretty sure Lesley is ready for one of her own!
Today is going to be a busy day of packing and getting ready to leave for the weekend. We are making a our first big trip to visit LOTS of family and friends. Tonight we will drive back to Manson and stay until Monday morning. While in Manson we will help cousin Dawson celebrate his 1st birthday and have Sunday dinner at Grandma Ruth's house. On Monday we leave for Omaha to pick up Uncle Adam, Aunt June, and Cousin Alex from the airport. On Tuesday morning we will travel to Lennox, South Dakota to visit the Kruse and Ronning families. It is going to be a BIG couple of days for Nolan and I hope that he stays happy for everyone!
