4th of July weekend was spent in South Dakota for a BIG Ronning Reunion. We arrived on Friday afternoon and met up with everyone for supper. Then Saturday morning we got up early to walk/run for Nolan. The Ronning family planned a walk around the Nora area (where Nolan's Great-Great-Great Grandparents lived and where his Great Uncles continue to farm.) It was a 3 mile walk/run up and down hills on a very hot morning, so Nolan didn't get to walk the whole thing since it was a little too humid for him. Dad won the race but it was a close one with Cousin Zach (12 years old). Once again it was a great turnout and we are very thankful for all the support from our family.
