Landon's 1st Birthday Party

Landon's 1st Birthday Party was on Sunday Afternoon, the 23rd, his actual Birthday.

 

We were planning on about 60 people to help Celebrate Landon's Birthday!  The theme was orange and blue and it was lots of fun to decorate for.  I didn't do a good job of getting pictures of all the decorations but here are some of them. 

The cake table, the quilt is one that I picked out the fabric for and Grandma Kruse made for Landon to play with on the floor.  He loves playing on the floor with it and it just so happened to match the colors for his party!

Landon's smash cake with the cupcakes for the rest of the guests!  I also bought the Dr. Seuss book, "Happy Birthday To You" for everyone to write a message to Landon in, he can read it when he gets older.

He was messmerized by the flame and tried to touch it a couple of times!!

He was very nice about the cake smashing and just kind of picked at the cake.  I think he was still full from his meal, he ate a lot of his yummy Birthday meal.  We had "Tacos in a Bag", fruit salad, orange fluff salad, chips and salsa, and veggies! 

He did like the frosting though, didn't eat much cake, just the frosting!  The high chair that Landon is sitting in belonged to Landon's Great Granpa and Grandma Kruse.  Landon's Grandpa Kruse and Great Uncles and us Grandkids used the chair.   It is so nice having it in our family now.

Nolan slept through the whole party, despite many efforts to try and wake him up.  He woke up as soon as the majority of the guests left so we could get one picture together!
