Day 3 - Cocoa Beach

Wednesday morning we got up and headed East to the coast, Cocoa Beach. Another one of the things that we wanted to get Nolan to was the ocean and put his feet in the sand. So, it was a short drive to the beach from our hotel and we got there in only an hour. It was awesome weather, the sun was shining and it was HOT (for us Iowa people), got up to 80 yesterday. Landon wasn't so sure about the sand at first and wouldn't walk by himself but you can tell by the pictures below that by the end he realized it was just like the sandbox at Grandma and Grandpa's house. The water was pretty cold, only about 62 degrees so it was pretty cold on our feet but felt awesome to have our feet in the ocean on January 2nd!

Before we left for the beach Grandpa was keeping Landon occupied with feeding his animals their breakfast of leaves from bushes outside on our patio.

After we left the beach we went to a seafood restaurant for lunch and then we headed back to the our hotel and did some swimming and hanging out the rest of the day. That night we took the boat over to Downtown Disney for supper at Earls Sandwich place. Everyone was exhausted though and so we headed back early for bed, both boys didn't sleep well the night before!
