Walt Disney World Trip

On Sunday we started our journey to Walt Disney World for a family vacation.  We flew out of Minneapolis on Sunday at 10:40 and our flight was great.  Landon was a champ on the flight, he fell asleep on take off and slept for about 45 minutes and then was awake for the next 2 hours.  He played with a kid that sat in the seat in front of him and and then kept busy with other items in the seats.  Nolan fell asleep shortly after take off as well and slept until we were starting to land.  When we landed in Florida it was warm and sunny, fabulous! :)

On Monday morning we headed out to Magic Kingdom to spend the day.  New Years Eve is the busiest day of the year at Walt Disney World and so it took us a while to get to Magic Kingdom and it was crowded but we go to ride everything we wanted to ride and were able to move pretty good.  When we left the park around 5:00 they said it was closed at noon for all new guests because they were at capacity.

Next we headed to Its a Small World ride and we got in pretty fast and got to keep Nolan in his chair which made it really nice.  We also got to ride it twice in a row!  Landon was in awe at everything the first time around and the second time really started to enjoy everything.  

Grandma sat next to Nolan and told him everything that was around.

In the afternoon there was a little parade that we watched and they invited all the kids to the street to dance with the characters.  Nolan was the star of the show.  They all circled him and said "Join the Nolan dance party"!  Goofy kept dancing with him and a couple of the other cast members.  It was amazing and everyone enjoyed watching Nolan get all that attention.  A few of us had tears a couple of times!  It was hard to get pictures because of all the people around dancing on the street!

After the dance party we rode the big boat around Tom Sawyer Island.  Landon tried on Mommy's sunglasses and thought he was pretty cool.

After the boat ride we hung around and got front row seats for the afternoon Jingle Parade.  

Sneezy stopped to see Nolan and sneezed on him and then wiped his kleenex on him.  

Eeyore stopped to visit Nolan again.  Everyone loved Nolan and blew him kisses!

Landon and Mommy enjoyed the parade also! 

It was a fabulous Day 1 at Walt Disney World!
