Georgia Vacation (Part 3)

The last part of our vacation was lots of fun too, shopping, soccer, birthday party, hanging out, and visiting base!
We spent Friday hanging out around the house and then went downtown Valdosta for a little while to do some shopping and look at quilts.
This is what happened every morning when Landon woke up at 5:00, we stayed in our room until 6:00 and then he would go to Grandma's bed and play her Kindle!

Lulu would come in to see Landon in the morning, he loved that cat!

He would rub his head up against the cat!
Friday night Landon, Alex, Grandma and Mommy went to eat at the Smokin' Pig.  June stayed back at the house to get some stuff done for the party the next day.
Landon and Alex got ice cream after they finished their food!

Rockers at the Smokin' Pig!

Grandma and two of her boys again!

Just hanging out on the rockers!

Saturday morning we got up and ready to go watch Alex play in his first soccer game of the season.  They play 3 on 3 at his age level and it was lots of fun to watch them play.  He does a great job!
Posing before the game!

Landon wanted to be a part of the warm ups so he hung out in the net!

The game begins!

Shooting for a goal, but he missed!

Landon and Grandma watching the game.

Half-time, Landon and June and having a blast, Ring Around the Rosie!

Alex made a goal!  Landon was trying to run away at the time so I almost missed the shot!

Landon trying to keep up with his BIG cousin!

After the game we went to Lowes for their Build It Projects.  This time they got to build a Fire Truck!
Landon hammering away at this Fire Truck!  Grandma helped Landon and Mommy helped Alex!

Landon with the Lowes mascot!

Landon got an apron since it was his first time there!

After Lowes we headed home to get ready for Alex's BIG birthday party!
Alex and Grandma having a serious conversation!

Alex testing out the Lego car race track!  Mommy built it for Alex!

Alex's table all set and ready for his guests to arrive!

The cake Auntie June made for her Alex!  It was covered in Lego brick chocolates that she made!

Alex and Landon getting some pool time in together before the guests arrive!

They were having so much fun together running through the water!

The party has started!

Taking a break from the water to jump on the trampoline!

Blowing out his candles!

Opening presents, you can see Landon in the background using the racetrack as a slide!

Up close!

June made shirts for all the kids in their goody bags!  They were all so cute!

Grandma and the boys after the party!

Alex is helping Mommy read a book!

Sunday morning we hung out around the house before heading to Toys R Us for Alex to pick out a present from Uncle Jon and Landon to pick out a gift for Nolan.  After Toys R Us we ate at the Waffle House because we can't visit the South and not eat at one.  Then we went back to the house to hang out and relax before June took on to Moody Air Force Base to show us around!
This is how we rode in the car all the time, Grandma stuck in the back with the two crazy boys!

At Toys R Us, it was a crazy ride!  Nope just barely moved so the boys were over exaggerating!

The boys with their Waffle House hats on!

Alex walking Landon around the planes/jets at the park.  It started raining right before we left for the base so we didn't walk around much but we got to see everything still

Mommy, Alex, and Landon next what Alex called his favorite plane!

One last picture with the boys!

Landon was laughing soooo hard as June and him ran back to the truck!

Monday morning we had to wake up REALLY early to get to the airport in time for our 6:15AM flight!  Landon loved pulling his Monster suitcase around the airport like all the big kids!
Landon did great on the flights back, slept the whole way from Atlanta to Des Moines.  Daddy was the airport to pick us up and we were so happy to be back home!  Mommy and Landon missed Daddy and Nolan!
