Last weekend, March 13th, we traveled to South Dakota to meet up with some of the Kruse and Ronning families! Friday morning Mabel, Landon, Mommy and Grandma Mary Jo left to spend the day doing some shopping in Sioux Falls and to meet up with Aunt Marlene who was visiting from Atlanta. We shopped in the morning and then met Marlene for lunch and then did some more shopping. In the afternoon we went back to the hotel for a little bit before going out to eat at Olive Garden. After supper we did some swimming back at the hotel before everyone went to bed. The next morning there was more shopping before we met up with Daddy, Nolan and Grandpa Brad who were coming up that day. After eating lunch at the mall we went back to the hotel and some of the Kruses were there. Later that day we went out to eat with the Kruses at Old Chicago. Sunday morning we traveled down to Roseni church to spend some time with the Ronning family. During the church service a lot of the Ronning's sang one of Grandma Mabel's favorite songs for the special music. After church we had dinner with everyone at the church. Then it was time to split up and Mommy, Daddy, Mabel, and Nolan headed to Rochester for Nolan's appointments on Monday and Tuesday; Landon went home with Grandma and Grandpa Kruse. It was a long drive from Alcester to Rochester but we survived. Mabel ended staying in a hotel for 4 nights and it wasn't as bad as we expected it to be, it went really well.
