Adam and I left on Friday the 5th for a weekend trip to Kansas City, it had been a few years since we visited after living there for 3.5 years. Mabel and Landon stayed with Grandma Marjean and Grandpa Dale while Nolan stayed with Grandma and Grandpa Kruse. All the kids had a blast without Mommy and Daddy around and Mommy and Daddy enjoyed the sleep at night at night!
Friday night we went to the Royals game, it was a perfect night for the game. Saturday morning we drove around and visited a few of Mommy's favorite shopping places before driving down to Gardner. In the afternoon we got our swimsuits on because it was hot out and went to the new (new to us at least) waterpark in Kansas City, Schliterbahn. It was a fun afternoon relaxing in the water or going down the slides. That evening we had supper at Adam's favorite BBQ place, Haywards, it was delicious! Sunday morning we got up to do a little shopping at IKEA and Legends before heading back home to see the kids!
