Mabel was 6 months old on July 30th but we didn't have her check up until yesterday. She weighed in at 18lbs. 11oz. (85th percentile) and was 29" tall (100th percentile)! We looked at the boys charts and Nolan was around 30" tall and Landon was 27.25" tall at their 6 month appointments so she is going to be a tall girl! Mabel is rolling all over the place, the other day we found her in the dining room when we left her by the fireplace in the living room. She loves to play with her toys and puts EVERYTHING in her mouth. Mabel can sit up on her own for a few seconds, until she looks up or tries to grab something. Landon and Mommy nicknamed her Grabsie (a Wild Kratts animal) because she grabs for everything in front over! Mabel takes 2 naps a day and is getting really good at those but the night sleep is still a work in progress; she usually gets up 1 or 2 times a night for a bottle and goes back to sleep. It is so much fun watching her smile and giggle at her brother Landon. She knows who we are and will get excited to see us or sad if we leave her sometimes. Mabel is growing and changing all the time and we need time to slow down, we are not ready for her to be mobile or start talking yet, just slow down time!
