Sunday, August 16th, was a hot day so we headed out to the lake since the Manson pool was already closed. The Aljets family met us out at Grandma Marjean and Grandpa Dale's house for some afternoon fun. Mabel, Landon and Daddy enjoyed cooling off in the water while Mommy and Nolan watched from above. Mabel loved splashing in the water and watching everyone else around her! Landon stayed down where he could touch and have control but got a little braver this time then the last! It was a fun afternoon at the lake, probably the last one of the year!

August 20th Mommy's work had a gathering at the Apple Orchard's Back 40 after work. Daddy brought the kids over to meet Mommy and everyone enjoyed a fun night playing on the equipment or just watching and taking it all in! There were a lot of kids there from all the faculty and staff at Iowa Central, fun to see everyone. Daddy left around 7:00 with Mabel and Nolan while Mommy and Landon stayed and played a little longer. Landon was so thirsty and tired on the way home, he just wanted to get home, I think he had too much fun!
