Mabel's 1st Birthday Party was on Saturday, January 30th, her actual birthday. Mabel woke up on Saturday morning with a bad runny nose and you could tell that she wasn't feeling the best but she got to enjoy some Lucky Charms for breakfast! We played for awhile and then she got to open her presents from Mommy, Daddy, Nolan and Landon! Then Mommy and Daddy had some work to get ready for the party so she got to go spend some time with Grandpa and Grandma Kruse before her party. It was a beautiful for being the end of January, so the guests had no problems getting to the party.
The theme for the party was pinks and gold, the perfect girl 1st birthday! We made baked ziti, garlic bread, fruit and salad for the meal and then cupcakes for the dessert. Mabel was in awe of everyone at the party and still was not feeling the best but she was a real trooper for the day! After lunch we sang Happy Birthday and opened presents! People started to slowly head out in the mid afternoon and so Mabel went to take a nap and even with the house being loud she took a good nap, she was exhausted from all the partying!

Mabel got Mommy's old cradle that Grandpa Brad built for Mommy. He fixed it up and Grandma painted it and made a new quilt and padding for it!
