Bowling, South Dakota, and a Movie!

This past weekend the boys played at home with Dad and Mabel traveled to South Dakota with Mom. Saturday morning Mabel, Mom, Grandma and Grandpa Kruse made the trip to South Dakota to celebrate Uncle Dick's 80th Birthday and then go spend some time with Papa 2. Mabel was such a good girl in the car and while visiting people! While at the birthday party Mommy took Mabel out to visit Grandma Mabel and Grandpa Edgar's at the cemetery and Mabel just sat down right next to the gravestone and just started talking and talking and she kept tracing her finger on the rose on Grandma Mabel's stone. It was the most amazing thing to watch, Mabel even gave the gravestone a kiss. Later that day Mabel loved playing with the toys at Papa 2's house and enjoyed the treats that he shared with her. It was a great day visiting family in South Dakota.
Daddy and the boys played in the morning and then went out to Great Grandma Ruth's house to work on the planter for a little bit. After working outside they went inside for a snack before heading home and getting ready to meet some friends for bowling that night. They met Richmans, Anlikers, and Nelsons in Pocahontas for some supper and then bowling. Landon had a blast with the other kids and bowled pretty well too, he can't wait to go again sometime.
Sunday morning Landon and Mommy went to church and then Grandma Mary Jo joined us for a lunch and a movie in Fort Dodge. Landon loved the meal because he got to pick it out, "Old McDonalds"! After lunch we headed to the theater to watch Zootopia! Landon was so brave this time and was ready for the movie to start. He loved the movie and it is so fun to listen to his little laugh during the movie!
