The kids did get some use out of their costumes this year for Halloween. Landon wore his to school on the 27th for his Halloween party at school! They paraded around the gym so the older kids in the school could see their costumes. Then, we had a party on Friday night that Mabel and Landon went to with Mommy and Daddy. Mabel wore her Minnie Mouse costume and Landon went as a football player to that party. The kids had fun running around with the other kids at the party. Saturday night Daddy was in the field so Mommy got the kids dressed in their costumes again and we went out to visit Grandma Marjean, Great Grandma Ruth, Eric and Ellen, and Rubert and Doris! Mabel decided she didn't want to be Minnie Mouse again so she wore her UNI cheerleading outfit which worked fine because the Panthers were playing! The kids enjoyed getting the candy and it was nice weather out to go around. Sunday night Landon got the flu and was still sick on Monday so we decided to stay home from Trick or Treat night in Manson and we handed out candy to the kids that came to our door. Then Tuesday night we got the kids dressed up so they could go to a few more houses! We went to Grandma and Grandpa Kruse's house and then Grandpa and Grandma Ramthun's house and last Great Grandpa Ron's house. The kids had fun again but Mabel was over with Halloween! :)
