Thanksgiving Weekend

We got home from Kansas City on Wednesday night and on Thursday morning we hosted Thanksgiving at our house with the Lantz family and Grandma and Grandpa Kruse.  It was the first time hosting a holiday at our house and it was fun!  We made the turkey and mashed potatoes and everyone else brought a dish or two with them, it wasn't stressful at all that way.  The food was delicious including some great pies for dessert!  After the meal some went out and played football while others stayed in the warm house and hung out.  It was fun day with the family and so happy we could host at our house!
Table all ready for the meal!

Just about time to eat!

Working on some crafts after the meal and some football!

Mabel decided she was ready for a nap during the meal and so she got to eat the rest of her lunch after her nap!

Playing football outside!

Landon loved playing catch with everyone!

Rachael going in for the catch!

Nolan and Great Grandma Ruth staying warm inside!

The Lantz sisters cleaning up after the meal.

Happy Thanksgiving 2016!

We had everyone write on the board what they were thankful for this year!

Closer look at the board!

Friday we worked on getting the house ready for Christmas!  The kids loved watching everything go up and change, they were so "helpful"!
Helping Daddy fluff the tree!

More fluffing!

Landon helping Nolan hang some of his ornaments on the tree!

More ornament hanging!

Mabel tried so hard sometimes to get the ornaments to stay on the tree!

The tree all decorated and pretty!

Friday afternoon Braxton came to town for the weekend without his mommy and daddy!  We all had fun hanging out with him for a couple of days!
Braxton and Landon taking a break from running around at Grandma and Grandpa's house!

We took Braxton up to the MACC with us on Saturday morning!

Mabel and Braxton just copy each other and want to do everything the other is doing!

They are so funny!

Mabel thought Braxton was hilarious!

Snack time after basketball!
