Nolan received a wish from Make-A-Wish Iowa and we as a family decided to go on a vacation together to Disney World. Nolan had been to Disney once before and we had a great trip but we have been told so many times that he needed to go through Make-A-Wish for the experience. We decided to take the trip with just us and not bring any other family or nurses with. Landon last summer made the comment while we were on our mini-vacation to Rochester that he was so happy to have all of us together and just be us. Mom was a little nervous about taking the kids to such a big place with no extra help but dad was confident we could do it! He was right! Nolan's wish granters came to our house about week before we left and brought us our package for the trip and the kids each got some special things. We packed up our rental van and left on Tuesday, February 27th around 6:00AM. We planned to drive as far as we could the first day to help make the next couple days a little easier. We made it to Murfreesboro, TN about 9:30PM. We made some stops along the way the first day to break up the time but the kids did great in the car. The 2nd day we got up and left the hotel around 7AM to make the drive to Marietta, GA to visit Great Uncle Mike and Great Aunt Marlene for a little bit. We all had a great visiting them and the kids loved their place and didn't want to leave. We had to get going mid afternoon though otherwise we were going to be sitting in Atlanta traffic. We made it to Valdosta, GA that night around 6:00PM. The kids were able to go swimming in an outdoor pool with Daddy while Nolan and Mommy got the hotel room settled for the night and relaxed. The next morning was the final leg of the trip. We were all ready to leave early in the morning so we could get to Give Kids the World decent time and then get some time in at Disney Springs. The traveling was a lot better than Mom and Dad thought it would be but still A LONG drive! Time for some fun at Disney!
Nolan with his wish granters, he was happy. The ladies were so nice and easy to work with!
They gave Nolan a giraffe, they saw his room last time they came to visit! :)

Ready to leave at 6AM on February 27th!
St. Louis Arch! Mommy always stopped at the Arch on her many trips to Atlanta for summer vacations. It was fun for the kids to get to see it too! It was windy and cool.

We made it to Give Kids the World, our home for the next week. We got a tour of the place and then ate lunch. After lunch we unpacked the car and got ready to leave for Disney Springs for the afternoon, Mabel had a very important appointment that afternoon!
The kids had to try out the carousal quick before we left!
Mabel loved the ride and she rode on the carousal everyday!
Welcome to Disney!

Mabel was able to get her hair and make-up done at Bippity Boppity Boutique. She wanted to be like Elsa. This was her before picture.
She sat so good and loved every minute of it.

That night back at Give Kids the World it was Christmas! Every night they have some big event planned like Halloween, Birthday Celebration, Candy Land. The kids got to meet Santa and pick out a gift. Santa insisted on holding Nolan, this was great because not many times has Nolan had the chance the sit on Santa's lap.
So happy with Santa!
We were walking away and then Mabel went running back to give Santa a hug, so sweet.
After Christmas the kids wanted to ride the rides at GKTW. This ride you had to pedal to get the butterfly to go up and down. Mabel and Mommy rode together and Landon was brave and rode with someone he didn't know. Nolan sat this one out until we knew what to do.
Mabel and Mommy!
It was great first day at GKTW and Disney and we were ready for our big day at Magic Kingdom the next day!
