Busy Weekend - Parade and Baptism

This past weekend was Greater Crater Days in Manson so lots of activities in Manson.
Abby (Mommy's best friend) and her little girl, Hannah came to visit on Friday night and we hung out on the front porch with the kids.  Hannah and Landon had fun chasing eachother on the porch or trying to keep away from one another.

Adam ran in the 5K Saturday morning and the boys and I were going to walk it with Grandma Mary Jo but it was rainy.  We walked about a mile of it and then Landon was getting pretty wet so we called Grandpa Brad to come rescue us from the Watertower Park.  Adam did great in his first 5K in over a year, he ran under the time that he set as a goal.
After the 5K we came home and got cleaned up and then got ready to walk across the backyard to the parade that was going down mainstreet.  The boys just sat and enjoyed the parade, Landon loved watching all the people.  Lots of candy was thrown at us but we shared it all with the Reuters since they were allowing us to hang out with them during the parade.

This was when the fire trucks were coming, Landon didn't care for them but Nolan loved it and was laughing and smiling the whole time, I missed it on the camera though.

The fire truck that Nolan loved!
After the parade Landon and I headed to Northwood with Grandma Marjean to help Aunt Morgan get ready for Caleb's Baptism the next day.   Nolan stayed with Grandma and Grandpa Kruse while Adam went to his 10 year class reunion.  Adam drove up to Northwood on Sunday morning with other family members.  Caleb's Baptism went really well and he only fussed a little when the water poured on his head.  It was a fun afternoon hanging out with both the Lantz and Ramthun families.  I am sure we will celebrate many more events in Caleb's life up in Northwood.
Uncle Matt entertained Landon for a while in the kitchen.
 He loved playing with Matt!

  1. Landon probably had to get away from Hannah because she was probably hitting on him all the time.:) You know how Abby always was with the boys. I enjoyed the walk - would have liked it better with no rain. Good times to remember.
