Cubs vs. Twins

Nolan has a weeks worth of appointments in Rochester, MN this week so I couldn't pass up the opportunity to see the Cubs while they were only 4 hours away in Minneapolis playing the Twins.  Nolan came along to the game with his Twins gear on while Sarah shopped at the Mall of America on Sunday.  It was a 1:10 start to the game so it was during Nolan's normal nap time and he spent most of the game asleep.  It was Nolan's second trip to Target Field, luckily it wasn't raining this time! We are starting to use Nolan's chair more and it worked great at the game.  It was a hot day and there was no way I could have held him in my lap, we both would have been WAY too hot!  We got to the stadium early and left during the 7th inning and had no problem getting in or out.  The Cubs were safely in the lead (no lead is really safe with the Cubs though) when we left and held on to win 8-2.  It was a fun day at the ballpark!
After getting Nolan's new Twins hat at Target.

They have a really nice unloading area at the stadium where Sarah dropped us off and picked us up. She took our picture before she left.

The view from our seats.  We actually got wheelchair accessible tickets and they were great.  We were in the shade and had a strong breeze blowing in our faces.  No home runs hit our way during the game but there were a couple in batting practice.

Nolan's new ball from the stadium to add to his collection.

How Nolan spent most of the game.

The baseball fans.
