The Christmas parties started on Saturday, the 21st, up in South Dakota with the Kruse family. Paul and Laurie hosted the party this year at the Lennox High School. It was a great afternoon spent with family and the kids all had a blast together, lots of room to run in the gym. Santa came to visit and so the boys got to have pictures taken with him. Landon was still unsure of Santa and so didn't want to get too close. We had a lot of people attend, we were only missing 5 cousins, which isn't too bad.

After dinner and some games we went to look at Christmas lights at the Falls, Nolan stayed back with Grandpa Brad because it was too cold out for both of them! The lights were beautiful and the Falls were so pretty with their lights on.

After the lights we made it back to the hotel to settle in for the night and let the boys do some swimming. The water was a little cool but that didn't seem to bother Alex or Landon.

Sunday morning we got up and did some more swimming and then headed over to Cousin Charlotte's place to meet with the Ronnings. We were only missing one cousin out of all of us, which is pretty impressive. It was fun catching up with everyone and we know we need to get together more often.

It was a short, long weekend and just the beginning of the Holiday Season for the Ramthun Family!
It was such a great Christmas. I loved having all my family in my house for the day. They are the best.
