The Ramthun Family: 4th of July Weekend Festivities!

We had a couple of fun days celebrating the 4th of July Holiday this year! We started out on Friday morning with some good family fun with play-dough and checking out Nolan's new equipment. Nolan got a new stander and a lift now for the house so our house is slowly filling up! Mid morning we got ready to head out for some fun on the lake. We dropped Nolan and Mabel off at Grandma Marjean's house while Landon, Mommy and Daddy rode bikes around the lake. It was a good bike ride around the lake, perfect weather for it! After the bike ride we met up with Grandma and Grandpa Kruse on the boat! We ate lunch on the boat and then did some skiing and tubing. It was an awesome afternoon on the water, lots of laughs! After the boat fun we picked up Mabel and Nolan and went back to our house for the night! Landon, Mabel and Daddy did some swimming while Mommy and Nolan did some lounging! Later that night Grandma and Grandpa picked Landon up for a stay over!

Saturday morning we were supposed to get ready and go to Storm Lake for the parade, picnic and other fun but Landon wasn't feeling well when he woke up at Grandma and Grandpa Kruse's house. He was running a low fever and just tired. So after some Tylenol he was feeling better but we decided to skip Storm Lake and just go to the Grandma Ruth's house. Good thing we skipped Storm Lake because Landon slept most of the time out at Grandma Ruth's house. Grandma and Grandpa Kruse came with us and we had a picnic outside, created our own parade, enjoyed Ranger rides, flying the kite, and time outside! It was a great 4th of July out at Grandma Ruth's house complete with a few fire crackers, snakes, and tanks!
