Grandpa Dennis, Aunt Hunter, the Johnson family and us (Nolan stayed home for a weekend with Grandma and Grandpa Kruse) had a great time at the Yankton cabin again this summer. We arrived on Friday, June 30th and waited for Grandpa Dennis to come that night. We got settled into the house and did some exploring and then it was bed time. Saturday morning we got up and did some exploring in Yankton with Grandpa Dennis before the Johnson crew arrived. Saturday afternoon it was time for the beach and some swimming. Sunday morning Aunt Hunter arrived and we had a picnic at the big Lewis and Clark park. We did a lot of hanging out around the house and swimming the rest of the weekend. It was a great trip and the kids had a blast. We left for Manson on Tuesday the 4th early in the morning so we could get back to spend the 4th of July with Nolan.

Saturday morning we went into town and found the old bridge that Grandpa Dennis used to drive his truck across. The bottom you drove one way and then you drove back on the top. It is now a pedestrian bridge but it was fun to walk across. Daddy and Grandpa were the only two brave enough to walk across the top!

Monday afternoon boat ride! Everyone went for a boat ride except Mabel, Daddy and Grandpa Dennis. We anchored down at one spot and the boys and Aubrey had fun jumping in the water!
