The Ramthun Family: Rochester, Here Come the Ramthuns!

Nolan had a couple of appointments on July 28th in Rochester so we decided to make a little vacation out of it for the family! Normally it is just Nolan, Mommy and Daddy but Nolan wanted to show his brother and sister where he goes for his appointments and wanted to discover some of Rochester as well! We took off on Friday morning and first was business, Nolan had to meet with Dr. Grothe - GI and then we had lunch and then another appointment with Dr. Nickells - Neurology. It was neat for Landon and Mabel to see the clinic area and to go along for the appointments. Landon was a big helper and Mabel was just Mabel! After the appointments we went to the hotel for a little bit before heading out to the county fair to see the Dinosaur exhibit and other regular animals! The dinosaur exhibit was neat but I think the kids had just as much fun checking out the other animals at the fair. After the fair we went back to the hotel for supper and swimming! The kids had a fun night in the hotel and in the morning we got up and did a little more swimming before packing up for some more adventures! Saturday morning we went out to the local accessible park and the kids had a blast running around there. Nolan was chasing them all over the playground, so much fun to watch. We then visited the little pond next to the park to see the geese and ducks. After that park we headed to the conservation park where we got to see some more animals and do a little more exploring. After that it was time for lunch and to do a little back to school shopping before heading back to Iowa! It was a fun little get away for the family and I know the kids had a blast!
