Today he visited Dr. Nash for his first check-up. Nolan now weighs 9 lbs. 14 oz. and is 23 inches long, he isn't getting any smaller. When we left the hospital on Thursday he weighed 8 lbs. 14.5 oz. Dr. Nash said he is doing great and she won't have to see him until he is 2 months old because he is gaining the weight he needs. While we were waiting for Dr. Nash Nolan decided to make a mess in his diaper and all the way up his back. Our two outtings to the doctor office have been interesting since he spit up all over himself on Friday when we were there for my follow-up visit.
Grandma and Grandpa Kruse and Uncle Jon left today. So now it is just Adam and I with Nolan. Tonight we gave him another bath and he was a little happier than the last time. Adam fed him tonight after the bath and I think he would have fallen asleep with Nolan if he could have.
We will see how our first day goes tomorrow at home by ourselves.
